About Sew Far Sew Good
Sew Far Sew Good is a short, cheerful sewing game made in two days for the GrowUP! Mending Jam. Press Play to load the creators' official itch.io browser build right here, then read the notes below for controls and credits.
On its itch.io page the team describes the game simply: help this cute little one patch holes in clothes. Each level shows a worn garment on a fabric background. You cut a patch shape from pretty fabric and sew it over the hole, stitch by stitch.
Speed and accuracy both count. A timer runs at the top of the screen, and the game rewards neat stitches that follow the yellow guide spots. There are three levels, and a full run takes about five minutes, so it is a quick break between Dressmaker commissions.
The jam theme was "mending". The GrowUP! Game Jam was supported by Our Social Fabric, a non-profit fabric store that sells deadstock fabric to keep textiles out of landfill, and the SPEC Repair Café, where volunteers fix broken electronics and clothing.
The creators list Godot as the engine and state that no generative AI was used. Windows and Linux downloads are available on itch.io on a name-your-own-price basis.
